Tamara Atschba

The Georgian pianist Tamara Atschba has been acclaimed as an outstanding, inspired pianist by critics from The Listener, BBC Music magazine, Fuji News/Japan a. o. Her strong musical personality, the high quality of her playing and the exceptional colours of her piano sound have been noted by internationally renowned musicians such as Yehudi Menuhin, Zubin Metha, Martha Argerich a. o.

Tamara Azschba has been performing in Europe, Asia, the USA and at numerous international festivals. Various CD recordings and concert performances at the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Hall in Italy, Jacques Thibaud Conservatory Hall in Paris/France, Kaufman Hall in New York a. o. testify her frequent artistic activities.

Since 1995, Tamara Atschba has worked at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and since 2012 she is professor at the Prayner Conservatory of Music and Drama. Many of her students are prize winners at international competitions and festivals. Since 2016, Tamara Atschba is vice president and artistic director of the Esperus Art Fund as well as co- founder of the Summer Music Academy in Monpasier, France.
